Results Are In

First off, congratulations to Manny's Dreadlocks for taking home the final event winning the College Bowl Pick 'Em. As he pointed out that day, the Rose Bowl was the big game in this one as he and runner-up Keyser Soze had different picks. TCU beating Wisconsin gave Manny's Dreadlocks the edge to take the prize home.

Auburn's field goal to win the national title last night also signaled the end of the second Fantasy Heptathlon. A big congratulations to Serenity Now! for taking home his first overall win. After a rough first campaign, he was able to close the rest of the field out going away. The fight for the rest of the cash was much closer with Orlando Mendez-Valdez, narrowly edging out Keyser Soze and Team Manciero for second place.

To all winners, please let me know where you want a check sent. For those that still owe me PAY UP!

Last bit of business... as long as the interest is there, I will bring the Heptathlon back for a third installment. A few games will be revised, I'm sure, but we'll be back down to our original seven events and I am predicting a buy-in of $75.

Please let me know EITHER WAY if you will or will not be back next year so we can work on filling the field. Also, if I owe you money, I can hold on to that and apply it to your next entry.
